We have been working our tails off this past week getting everything wrapped up so we can close the shop for just over a week. 🙂

Please be aware that while we are closed, we will not be able to answer emails, messages, or phone calls. We will catch up with everyone after June 10th.

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary… and it also marks 5 years full-time as leathercrafters at Lazy 3 Leather Co.

5 years ago today, we were setting up a pop-up tent at the Downtown Farmers Market in St. George, Utah for our very first day of self-employment. A lot has changed since then.

We’ve learned so much and see the hand of God in our lives and business every day. Our business has shifted quite a bit too — from making just about everything leather, to now focusing mostly on handcrafted leather knife sheaths.

When we first started, being together every day took some adjustment 😅 Now it’s just normal life, and honestly, we feel incredibly blessed to work from home together while providing for our family.

It’s been exhausting, stretching, humbling, rewarding… and amazing.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us these last 5 years. We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

Absolutely no regrets. The horizontal sheath carries comfortably and is he knife is secure. The quality of the leather and workmanship is clearly exceptional. They sold me a future heirloom.

POV: You walk in from the shop to package orders 😂

Then you remember everything you forgot…

• picking up the kids
• answering customer emails
• local orders
• mockups that still need to be sent
• monthly-ish emails
• giveaways
• ordering boxes
• trying to come up with better packaging
• the phone rings
• the alarm goes off and on all day

And because of all the chaos, I have to check the order number 3–4 times before putting on the label 😅

Just another normal day in the shop 🤎

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Kevin: Right Hander bought a Left Handed Sheath...What?! Two Words...Front Carry!

You read the title correctly. I am right handed and bought the left handed sheath. A friend once told me the belt buckle doesn't have to go in the center of your pants. Needless to say that was a total gamechanger for me. I purchased the left handed sheath and wear it in the front. Makes drawing and sheathing incredibly easy...and safer.

As to the sheath, Lucy and Todd are excellent artisans. I own a few of their sheaths and a couple of the other products they make and all are superb. The attention to detail and craftmanship are excellent. Fitment of the blade is perfect. Not too tight to hinder drawing, but tight enough to secure your blade without any worry of slipping out.

Most of all, they are decent people working hard in a small family business here in America. They care about their customers and producing a product they can be proud to put their name on.

You will not be disappointed with anything they make for you, because they actually do MAKE it for YOU!

I don't think she could be happier.She's been helping with the large order.We have this week in hand beveling these small straps that will become the handles on our mug wraps or making 210 mug raps.For an order , you could do it this way made her day.
