Nettle doesn’t look like much, but she’s a powerhouse. Rich in minerals, gentle on the system, and the kind of plant that shows up when your body is asking for grounding. I call her the unsung hero of fall tonics šŸ‚šŸŒæ

Even when the kettle’s quiet, the plants keep teaching.

Hot tip for hot days, sugar:

Your herbs are just like you — they don’t want to be trapped in a sun-soaked cabinet sweating through the afternoon.

ā˜€ļø Keep them out of direct light.
šŸŒ”ļø Store in a cool, dry place (no steamy kitchens).
šŸ«™ Use airtight jars — glass if you can. Plastic ain’t the vibe.
šŸ’€ Avoid the fridge — moisture’s the enemy.

Herbs carry stories, medicine, and magic — but only if you treat ā€˜em right.

Store them like they matter. Because they do.

🌿 Herbalism isn’t just ā€œnatural = safe.ā€ Herbs are potent medicine. Used wrong—or with the wrong info—they can be harmful. That’s why sourcing your knowledge matters just as much as sourcing your plants.

I’m proud to be learning and growing through mentorship and real study, not shortcuts. If you’re interested in herbalism, start with credible teachers. Ask questions. Stay curious. Stay humble. And above all: respect the plants and the people doing the work. šŸŒ±šŸ’š

I started The Copper Kettle because I believe in the power of folk wisdom, handmade remedies, and the deep, earthy medicine of plants.
This isn’t just a brand—it’s a legacy of healing passed down through Appalachian roots, one tincture and tea blend at a time.
