Golden retriever found! This adorable doggy has no collar and ran into our house while I was coming in. And is now enjoying our pool - ha! He has no form of ID, so we’ll keep him in our backyard until his owners are found.

We’re at 13 heartwood Street.

Stopped by to drop off some 🐾 treats at the Pro Shop on the way to work. Hondo was in the parking lot and came to the car to give Daisy a treat. We’re all so blessed by the guys in the pro shop and our dogs all love their attention. Thanks Hondo and team! Submitted by Nathan Anguiano .

{A Second Chance for Two Seniors}

Right before the winter storm hit we received an urgent call about two little Maltese dogs. Their owner had passed away and law enforcement found them in the home several days later. The county shelter they were set to go to had little heat and both dogs were in bad shape. We couldn’t say no to the request to take them in.

The two little guys, we later named Herold and Howie, went straight to our Veterinary clinic when they arrived. Not only were both dogs severely matted with f***s in their fur, they were also infested with fleas and had nails so long they were curled under making it difficult for them to walk. They had to be sedated for full grooms to remove the mats and get cleaned up.

We determined both dogs to be around ten years old and suffering from some medical issues. We uncovered cataracts in both of Herold’s eyes as well as a large tumor growing on his side. Howie also has some vision issues and both of them had infected teeth that need to be pulled.

Despite their medical issues and the trauma they both have been through, Herold and Howie are thriving in a foster home. We are grateful to the angel that stepped up on little notice to take them in and provide the care they desperately needed.

While they’re not yet ready for adoption, we’re committed to helping Herold and Howie heal fully and find the perfect forever home when the time comes. Senior dogs like them remind us why we do what we do: every dog deserves to live out their golden years surrounded by love, warmth, and compassion.

Hi! We’re new to NatureWalk (previously in the townhomes). This is Sully, our sweet Great Pyrenees pup. Sully just turned 2 yesterday. While he is massive in size he is a gentle giant. He’s very sweet and loves all people and most animals - he’s not a real big fan of the gators! If you see us out and about stop and say hi! Submitted by Rebecca Connor Center.
