Congrats to The Powers!

What a sweet day for such a sweet couple on Lake Wawasee! I am quite literally obsessed with the water, and loved listening to the splashing of the waves while creating these ceremony arrangement pieces! What a dream! And a beautiful floral vision with a couple who trusted me to bring it fruition? Even dreamier 💖🌸💫 Much love to y’all, and congratulations again!

“Should I add candles to my guest table design?”

If you ask me, the answer will always be “Absolutely!” The more the merrier imo! Tapers, pillars, floating, etc.! Candles are always a way to add to the design! Especially if you’re wanting that warm, intimate evening glow. Ooo sultry!

A lot of people really dog on the whites & greens color palette, but y’all! There’s so many different flower variations to choose from! Why not spice things up? Instead of writing off the whites & greens floral design all together, see what’s in season. Or what textures could add to the design? Is there a flower variety that adds to the overall feel? An all white and green color palette for a wedding can mean so many different things! Classic? Whimsy? Timeless? Modern? There are so many different paths and ways to create! Ah! The beauty of floral designing!

I do my best to show up and show love! How thankful and grateful am I for the ways God has guided me in this beautiful floral journey, how He’s shown up and shown love in ways I least expected! It’s messy, and scary, and busy, and beautiful, and rewarding, and fun! It’s all the things! Being a floral designer, kinda chic y’all!

I wouldn’t be where I am today without such an incredible team of friends, family, & community! What was a crazy idea is now a reality, and what a huge blessing it is that God has given me a way to create, meet amazing people, and be there for my family in ways my career as a nurse just couldn’t. I can show up as myself, be whimsy & creative, marvel at the beauty of flowers, and bring joy to my community in floral design!
