The library struggle isn’t over.

We stand with library workers and AFSCME 3395 as they fight for wages that keep up with Indy’s cost of living.

Meanwhile, the Library Board just boosted CEO Greg Hill’s pay to $270,000.

Greg never applied for the job, misses important meetings, and took months to fix a broken window at Central Library. Yet he was just gifted a $40,000 raise.

Workers are fighting for more than 2%. Greg got 40%.

If you stand with library workers and their right to earn a living wage, share this video. Let’s amplify the union’s demands!

📢 This was an Education Studies course titled,"Education and Urban Rebellions" at DePauw University.

A student name Alexis proposes a question on how the U.S. violated their founding document and how the U.S. deals with indigenous nations and where does The New Afrikan Independence Movement & Republic of New Afrika sees its self within that context and what are the goals right now for New Afrikan National Liberation.

During this course the class examined the relationship between education, geography, and urban insurrections primarily in the domestic borders of the u.s. Additionally, the class addressed how the state, capital, and university responded to those rebellions through incorporation and repression.

The last book assigned was Shaka A. Shakur's "Manifestations of Thought: When the Dragon Comes" (New York: 1804 Books, 2025), to which Haki Shakur wrote the preface.
