A little honest moment from the owners of Chosen🫶🏼…

Taking over this little shop has been anything but easy. We have been challenged in more ways than we can count. There have been long days, sleepless nights, moments of doubt, and more obstacles than we ever imagined.

The funny thing is, owning a little shop together is something we’ve dreamed about since we were kids. So when Chosen unexpectedly fell into our laps last year, we took the biggest leap of faith of our lives. We trusted God, trusted each other, and jumped.

What many people don’t see is the pressure that comes with taking over something that someone else built with so much love and hard work. We inherited a shop that already had a story, loyal customers, and a special place in the community. One of our biggest goals has been honoring everything the previous owners created while also finding our own way and slowly turning Chosen into a reflection of who we are. Balancing those two things hasn’t always been easy, and we’ve often wondered if we’re getting it right.

We are moms. We are wives. We work full-time jobs. And somehow, we’re also business owners. We have poured every ounce of ourselves into this little piece of heaven. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve stressed, and yes… we’ve even talked about throwing in the towel a time or two.

But every time we start to question ourselves, our customers show up. You walk through our doors, share kind words, support our makers, and remind us exactly why we started this journey.

While Chosen has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives, it has also been one of the hardest. Almost daily, we have to remind ourselves why we can’t give up on a dream we’ve held onto for so long.

So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for your support, your patience, your understanding when our hours fluctuate because life is busy, and for continuing to choose us. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to carry on something so special while allowing us the space to grow it into our own vision. Every purchase, every share, every visit, and every encouraging word means more than you’ll ever know.

This is only the beginning of our story, and we are so excited to see what Chosen grows into. We have big dreams, and we can’t wait to continue building them alongside this amazing community.
