In celebration of one of our own, Mari, and her daughter’s Quinceañera. ✨

This weekend, our Mariposas Events & Rentals family had the incredible honor of celebrating Mari as her daughter Myriam marked her beautiful Quinceañera. 💕

From the very beginning, the family’s vision was a traditional Mexican celebration rooted in customs, culture, and the love of our ancestors. Papel picado floating above, vibrant embroidery, meaningful traditions like the muñeca Lele, and intentional touches honoring loved ones such as Mamá Lola made every moment unforgettable.

Mari’s creativity, heart, and deep love for her daughter guided every detail, and our crew had so much fun bringing her vision to life. Seeing Myriam glowing in the middle of a room filled with color, community, and tradition was truly a blessing.

Congratulations, Myriam, on your special day.
Being part of a celebration filled with heritage, joy, and generations of love is something we’ll carry with us always.

We’re honored to support today’s Community Cook & Share!

Thank you to The People’s Table, Wisdom In Motion, and Hutch In Harmony for the beautiful work you’re doing in our community. We’re grateful to have played a small part by providing silverware and containers and are even more grateful to be mentioned in today’s recap. 💛

Seeing our community come together to serve 106 hot meals and 106 bulk meals is a reminder of the magic that happens when we all contribute what we can.

To every family who cooked, every volunteer who delivered, and every partner who opened their doors, thank you for choosing compassion and care.

106 Hot Meals + 106 Bulk Meals! 💛

Today was community at its finest. Wisdom In Motion & Hutch In Harmony teamed up with incredible partners and neighbors to make sure families across Hutchinson had access to warm, homemade meals. Our community SHOWED UP.

🍝 106 Hot Lunches Served
A huge thank you to the Garcia Family for providing a full, delicious hot lunch: spaghetti, a dinner roll, green beans, a cookie, and water. Your generosity fed so many hearts and homes today.

🥘 106 Bulk Meals delivered & picked up
Our community brought it all, chicken & rice, creamy chicken & rice, black bean chicken soup, two types of chili, baked spaghetti, and more. Every dish was made with love, and every meal found its way to someone who needed it.

WIM International Cooking Class Youth: For cooking bulk meals for our community
Mariposas Events & Rentals: for donating silverware and styrofoam containers
Living Hope Free Will Baptist Church: for opening your doors, your space, and your hospitality
Trinity Catholic Jr/Sr High School students: for volunteering to deliver meals on today’s routes
To all of our community members who signed up or emailed us to drop off bulk meals, your kindness made today possible

At the end of the day, we were even able to take extra meals to the Christian Soup Ministry Inc. during their dinner service so more families could take food home for the evening.

This is people taking care of people, lifting one another up, and sharing what they can. Thank you, Hutchinson, for helping us continue this work with full hearts. 🥣

As a community business, we believe in investing in our youth, the innovators, dreamers, and leaders of tomorrow. Supporting Allen STEM Magnet means helping students explore creativity, science, and technology in ways that inspire lifelong learning. 💜

At Mariposas Events & Rentals, we believe in creating spaces where meaningful conversations and life-changing opportunities can happen. We’re proud to have provided the backdrop for private conversations at this year’s Expungement & License Restoration Clinics!

A huge thank you to Expungement Project Hutchinson and all the incredible organizations and volunteers who made this event possible. Seeing our community come together to remove barriers and open doors for a fresh start is truly inspiring!
