The Wool Haus

The Wool Haus Hand dyed wool in small batches for applique, quilting and rug hooking Summer visits to her Oma’s house introduced Kirsten to handwork at an early age.

She learned how to make wool felt ornaments at her beloved local quilt shop, Patches and Stitches in Huntsville, Alabama. With encouragement from the ladies at Patches, she began designing her own ornament patterns. The ladies of wool group also introduced her to wool applique, and the idea for Wool Haus flowered. Not everyone wants something mass produced overseas, and Kirsten is delighted to be

a part of others' creative process. Kirsten is an army veteran and lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband, three sons and two dogs.
