Been so busy I’ve had just about zero time to spend in the shop. Spent a few hours in here tonight and designed and cut this custom spoilboard. Working on a custom spoil board design with 1/2” shallow T-Tracks recessed in between 3/4” MDF Inserts which will be secured by recessed nylon bolts backed by Tee-Nuts so they’ll be replaceable without having to remove the T-Tracks. All of this cut using cutters from 46171-K Compression Spiral 3/8 D x 7/8 CH x 3/8 SHK x 3 Inch Long 2 Flute in the auto tool changer on my ShopSabre PRO408 @ 220ipm. Left a super clean finish top and bottom

Finally got the low profile tracks for the spoiler board today so now I can start assembling it. This removable spoilboard will allow me to secure workpieces of different shapes and sizes with mechanical hold downs. When processing sheet goods this will be lifted off and I can leverage the vacuum table on the . The inserts will be replaceable and secured with recessed Nylon Bolts so once I can no longer resurface I’ll just replace them. These inserts were cut on the CNC using an cutter from 46171-K Compression Spiral 3/8 D x 7/8 CH x 3/8 SHK x 3 Inch Long 2 Flute in the auto tool changer on my ShopSabre PRO408 @ 220ipm ....
