While the race tracks and track activity which were at the core of Tracktivity in the past, will start coming back, we also decided to support the US market with the best quality sim racing hardware we could get our hands on. We are talking to several exciting hardware manufacturers worldwide and are planning to distribute their equipment in the US.

As the pandemic forced everyone to spend more time at home, the enormous rise in sim racing popularity was a logical consequence. Both software and hardware are evolving at a very rapid pace, and sim racing setups that, until not so long ago, were only available to professional teams are trickling down to the consumer markets and becoming affordable.

In the wake of COVID-19, sim racing has blown up in a big way. iRacing President and CFO Anthony Gardner tells us that his service is seeing unprecedented growth.

We took a break from Tracktivity in 2019 while figuring out where we wanted to take it next. Technology moved on, and there were so many new exciting directions we could have gone with it. As we started transforming that new vision into something tangible, Corona struck hard and changed the world in so many ways.
