Last week we said goodbye to Finn after 16 plus years of love, quirky personality, patience for all the other critters that came after, my lap buddy (Gary was his favorite)…. Put off putting away his bedding etc till yesterday. Now he is pain free and watching from above with Chelsea, Angus and Brody. Helped today to receive the sweetest note about a brittle purchase. As I read this message about my orange brittle REM’s Orange Crush was playing in my car. I am taking that as a sign from Finn that even though he is gone he is always around us!

Thinking of possible new/seasonal flavors for the falll…. How about a chocolate peppermint pecan brittle topped with pieces of peppermint….

Would love any other suggestions! I so enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and my tasters enjoy when I do too!
