How is it made? What does it feel like when you touch it? What could be done better? To make it last longer? After the initial attraction to a piece of furniture these are a few questions I ask myself.

One of the constant questions I ask as a mom is “how can I make my kids life better?” Being able to provide an oasis from the chaos at school and out in the big new world is so rewarding as a mother & craftsperson. We all need a sacred place to recharge.

Swipe right 👉🏽 to throwback to kiddo’s first bed - it fits a standard crib mattress and with the overhead canopy he was able to monkey around and let his imagination run wild. He now gets the big open sprawl of the queen mattress & the luxury of 1000 thread count sheets.
