My latest addition is a 14" x 8" x 1/2" Black Rhino made from Leopard Wood. Leopard Wood is often used to make fine furniture and musical instruments (guitars) as it resonates well, which is what gives this snare it's fantastic sound! And it looks gorgeous!! Message me for a test drive. $899.00 is a steal for this monster!!

Another gorgeous snare, The Mexican Rhino, made from Granadillo wood, aka Mexican Rosewood. Granadillo is a dense, rare hardwood known for its rich reddish-brown, purplish, or orange colors, and high-pitched, bell-like tone. It is used for musical instruments like marimbas, classical guitars, and inlay, as well as for fine furniture, turnery, and veneers. The wood is also resistant to fungi and termites and is often called Mexican Rosewood because of its similarity to rosewood, though it's harder and denser. This snare sounds amazing and even more aesthetically amazing. All hardware from Drum Factory Direct, this snare is a must have for any aspiring drummer! Makes a great Christmas gift!

D(aniel) N(elson) H(ite) Drums

Danny began his lifelong love of playing the drums at the age of nine. Eleven years later, he and two friends started their first band, Katzenjammer (based off an old cartoon strip from the ‘50s)! Four bands and a few decades later, you can still find him jamming out in his garage. His love of drums, though, is only one half of the equation.

The other half: woodworking. He built (pun intended) a knack for it as he spent his summers in high school working construction. After seeing a YouTube video of someone building a drum a couple years ago, he began handmaking his own, and DNH Drums was born!
