UH Salute to Retail The most recent luncheon was held at The Briar Club on Thursday, November 18, 2021 and highlighted the Past, Present, & Future of retail.

The biennial Salute to Retail awards luncheon benefits the Retailing and Consumer Science and Global Retailing programs in the College of Technology at the University of Houston. We were thrilled this year to honor companies who represent each of those eras, including Kroger, Foley’s/Macy’s, and Tenenbaum Jewelers. Be on the lookout for our next event!

In light of the recent global, national, and local developments surrounding COVID-19, the University of Houston is taking actions to help mitigate the spread of the virus by canceling or postponing university-sponsored events and large gatherings for the time being. Out of an abundance of caution, the UH Salute to Retail luncheon, scheduled for April 16, 2020, is being postponed.

Rescheduling is taking place and a new date will be determined soon. In the meantime, please contact Matt Oltremari at 713-743-9017 if you have any questions, concerns, or want additional information about the Salute to Retail event.
