As Texas Educational Theatre Association, Inc. SummerFest wraps up, I just want to give a huge shoutout to all of the K-12 Committee and board members who worked so hard to make this conference happen.

So much of what attendees experience, the sessions, networking, organization, and overall atmosphere, is the result of countless hours of planning and volunteer work behind the scenes. Y'all are incredible hosts, passionate advocates, and the reason so many educators leave feeling inspired and energized.

Thank you for everything you do for theatre education and for taking such great care of all of us this week. Your hard work absolutely does not go unnoticed. ❤️🎭

Even though I’m no longer in the classroom, professional development is still one of the most important parts of my work.

The more I learn from educators, the better I can support the students, teachers, and programs I serve across Texas.

Learning isn’t tied to a job title, it’s a lifelong commitment.

Looking forward to confine to share, and connect at SummerFest!
