Why should you hire a wedding planner/coordinator? 🫣
Let's chat! Come along with me. ☕️
I like to start by clarifying the confusion of a venue coordinator vs. a wedding coordinator.
A venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator have very different jobs. Both needed, but a venue coordinator isn’t a replacement for a wedding coordinator. 🤔
The venue coordinator is employed by the venue/property management, making sure the venue is set up and ready for your wedding day. They run the back of house details of the venue. Typically, they are the first to arrive - opening the venue, controlling AC/heat, checking cleanliness and those sorts of details. They are typically the last people to leave, locking the venue up at the end. 😄
A wedding coordinator is working closely with the bride & groom from the beginning and running the show so the couple can truly enjoy their engagement and wedding- stress free! 🤗
Wedding planners/coordinators typically handle the following, plus more! 🤯
• Communicate and coordinate directly with all of vendors and review contracts with you and for you.
• Create a detailed, customized wedding day timeline, typically starting with the rehearsal day.
• Communication to discuss your inspiration, design ideas, layouts, and every important detail in between.
• Serve as your main point of contact and your voice throughout the entire process. They work directly with the vendors so you don't have to.
• Ensure everything runs seamlessly, whether you need minimal guidance or full-service planning from start to finish.
Their goal is to be your go-to person for anything and everything.🤩😍
With the above being mentioned...😉
