Designed in Kentucky, Made in Upstate New York. Husband and wife team, Eric and Kathie Adams, created Kentucky based Brit & Blue as a way of interweaving two very different inspirations. The first is their love of fine tailoring, particularly that done in Britain. The second is an upbringing in America’s heartland where a relentless work ethic in the coal mines and farm fields has for generations been the path to a respectable way of life. The result of this melding of sensibilities is the Brit & Blue Signature Jacket, a garment that is widely considered to be the finest duck cloth jacket in the world. Every Brit & Blue is designed by Eric and Kathie in Kentucky and then crafted in Upstate New York at the oldest tailoring house in the United States.

Sir David Attenborough turned 100 this year. With his distinct and familiar voice, Attenborough has educated millions about wildlife and the environment that surrounds us. But Attenborough’s contributions don’t stop there. While serving in an executive role at the BBC, he led the launch of color television broadcasting across Europe. On top of that, he and his team of talented photographers revolutionized time-lapse photography by capturing plant growth for television. He also holds the world record for the longest career as a naturalist and television presenter. With absolutely no plans of retiring, Sir David Attenborough’s passionate and purposeful career is inspiring.

How John Denver helped save 104 million acres of Alaskan wilderness. From the 70s to the 80s, Denver helped with an array of wildlife and environmental conservation initiatives including a documentary film called “Alaska, the American Child” and his famous song “Alaska and me.” Denver even spoke at the white house to advocate for wilderness preservation. Finally on December 2nd,1980, the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA) was passed allowing an enormous increase in wildlife reserves and national parks in Alaska. In addition to his efforts in Alaska, Denver also co-founded the Windstar Foundation, a non profit environmental and humanitarian education organization in Colorado. Beyond music, John Denver truly made a difference in the protection of America’s lands.
