My dad brother and I put some of our custom made baits to work today , even though we got rained on it was still a good time . Hot bait for us was the 7.5 inch legend worm in black with red and green flake , Carolina pumpkin and my custom made triple tail grub in tin foil color . Managed a few crappie on the triple tail as well in tinfoil .

Riding high, I took our shiny new boat for a spin on the lake today, wrestling it through waves that were practically doing backflips thanks to 25-30 mph winds, and scored a nice bass with the ridiculously effective Vexxus bait in watermelon red with a red pearl belly - a combo so deadly it's like a neon sign saying 'come hither fish'; and since this magic bait is in stock, I'm itching to keep the streak alive with another fishing adventure tomorrow morning.

So I ordered a bear Alaskan pro, after shooting one at the ata show I was pretty impressed with it . I got it all set up and first shot got a pretty good paper tune out of it . For a bow that’s under 700.00 it flat out shoots . I’ll post updates as I get it sighted in . Message me if you want to try it out and get one on order.

Update on the new Shop: Sight survey will be completed in the next 5 days and also miss dig by Monday. Things are starting to move along. Once sight survey is completed they should start the work to get power to my shop. Still more work ahead getting lights installed and all the electrical circuits. Thanks everyone for being patient . Tentative soft opening shooting for July.

Took some down time to hit the turkey woods. 9 inch beard about one inch spurs . It was also snowing for a minute that morning .

I have been working on the soft plastic bait making room. Got it spray foamed and I epoxied the floor. Got some slat board hung .
