Sometimes a little less is more🙌🏼
This was a special creation for a family get together— I knew I wanted a pop of color and heavy florals (reusable decor I already had & wouldn’t have to spend $ on).
I used these pieces from a floral horn I broke down into segments & zip tied them to the pergola post. I knew I wanted balloons, but couldn’t totally envision it… the great part though? I installed these a few days before the party to get ahead of the to do list and I LOVED how much that helped & that I knew they’d be okay🙌🏼
But guess what? I forgot about my plan for balloons😂🫠 And even though I have a huge inventory and have tons of options on hand….I didn’t have all of the colors I wanted in all of the right sizes🤦🏼♀️ or time to overnight order.
Truth be told, I actually forgot until my mama asked me the MORNING OF the party if I was still going to make something😜
That’s when I decided whatever I made needed to be small, but impactful. One color. Bright & bold. And I had just enough left on hand to get this done.
I used my standard cluster recipe + my taper recipe, and WOW! It added exactly what I needed to finalize this look🥰
Now imagine something like this for a client.. how would we price it? Would it work as a grab and go? Or require on site services? Ultimately that would depend on the client. But the approach… maybe it’s not this exact design, but instead pops of balloons that a client could easily install in a space? Like clusters on umbrellas, an easel, pendant lights etc.
Just because a client may have a lower budget doesnt mean they don’t appreciate your work. I love capturing those clients any chance I can with creative solutions like this!
You don’t have to compromise your time or worth, or lose out on great clients— you just need creative solutions!
Have you tried offering grab & go’s? Have you ever had to turn away a client that you would have loved to work with? Have you thought about ways to offer more affordable designs without compromising your prices?? Tell me below in the comments! I want to see where there is success, where there is struggle, and what I can share to help you grow!
