Being sick slowed me wayyy down this weekend but finally made it out to the field to check on things. Got to see these cutie little bees having an evening snack! They are one of my favorite little creatures to watch buzz around the blooms in the mornings and see them slowly meander around in the evenings. 🐝

The amount of plants I have killed this year is wild🫠Today we hit day 20 of 100+ temps and me and the plants are feeling it. Reminding myself this is the first year each bed has had a least one crop in it and the most blooms produced-each year there’s lessons to learn.

The not-so-fun side of farming🫠 It’s not always pretty flowers but a journey of learning and problem solving when the unexpected happens. The first stem was one of a couple that were fine and the second (brown) stem is what the majority of the two buckets looked like.
