It’s crazy to think that all of this started on my 14th birthday when I asked for supplies to make soft plastic stick baits. I never imagined that it would grow into a business, or how many awesome people I’d meet along the way.
As I’m getting older and focusing on some new things, I’m making a few changes. I won’t be taking any special orders anymore, but I still have a lot of baits in stock that will be available at Callie Kay’s — the first store that gave me a chance and started selling my baits when I was just 14.
A big thank you to Callie Kay’s General Store, the Hagan Ace family, the Moore family, and Twin Bridges Country Store for supporting me and helping me grow not only as a person, but as a business owner. I’ve learned a lot from this journey and I’m really thankful for everyone who has supported me.
For now, the business will just be selling the rest of my baits at Callie Kay’s while I focus on some new opportunities. Don’t worry, I have a lot of soft plastics to keep them selling for a while! I just dropped off a lot today! I also have some hats and buffs still to sell if anyone is interested.
I’m excited to see what’s next, and again, I am very thankful for everyone who has been part of the Twisted Tackle journey.
