Leaving town for a week during growing season is risky business. The things you do for love…

But I’ll be darn if nature isn’t a better gardener! I don’t know whether to describe my plot as an oasis or a jungle. Either way, the flowers waited until I left and said, “Hold my beer!”

Who am I kidding? I have stellar neighbors: thank you Jim & Pam for mowing the yard, Lara for harvesting calendula, Chris as my rain monitor, & Pat for freebie begonias.

It took 3.5 hours to harvest these amazing blooms this morning. We’re coming to Huntsville Hospital bright and early Thurs and then to the market at MidCity Sunday afternoon. MidCity District The Market at MidCity Stop by to see us and grab some overflowing bouquets.

We’re out castle hunting this weekend in a faraway land, visiting family.

We’ll miss this Sunday’s Market at MidCity but will return next weekend with oodles of bouquets and lots of new product ideas to make with our flowers. You inspire us!
