This morning I hit the road for a 4-hour solo trip to check out a 1951 Spartanette trailer… and while I didn’t bring it home (womp womp 😅), the day was far from a loss.

I stumbled into the cutest little town and scored some pretty amazing thrift finds along the way 🛍️✨

Sometimes I forget I have a full-on 43-foot time capsule sitting right in my driveway. Stepping inside my 1955 Spartan travel trailer truly feels like walking straight back in time. ✨

Spent a little time tidying up this evening and added these stunning black and gold MCM lamps (with their original shades 😮‍💨). The best part? They came with a matching standing lamp and ashtray. 🤭

These beauties were part of my hoarder estate clean-out haul. Swipe to see them in their previous home. How neat is that? I love being able to give these pieces a second life and a new story.

Spent the day canning up the rest of my summer tomato harvest! 🍅🌱 I intentionally saved some for later, thinking it would give me something to look forward to during the winter — and a little spark of excitement for the next growing season.

I pulled out my vintage Squeezo strainer from the hoarder clean out. It’s missing a couple of pieces, but it worked like a charm! Using it got me thinking about the sweet lady who once owned all these treasures. I never had the chance to meet her, but after reading her obituary, I have a feeling we would’ve been pals. 😉 She loved gardening, yard sales, and canning… sounds like my kind of fun.

I can only hope she’d be happy knowing her things are finding new homes — and that I’m putting some of them to good use. 🥰
