About to get into the main part of this afghan!

This is what it looks like 8 rows in
Trying something new to me today….its called mosaic crochet.
It’s a big project. I probably should have started with a smaller sample to see if I like it first….but off I go

Here’s a finished project from about the middle of August.

The colors are more jewel toned and not the brighter like the red.
