Today, we’re proud to share a huge milestone for our company — Hanover Equipment Company officially has a new home.

This space allows us to grow into the company we’ve always envisioned — expanding our inventory, increasing flexibility for our customers, and continuing to build the services that set us apart.

For now, we’ll be operating by appointment only as we get settled, but soon enough our doors will be open with regular hours. We look forward to welcoming you in — stop by, grab a coffee, browse our retail shop, and hang out while our service department gets your equipment back in action.

None of this happens without you. Our customers, partners, and supporters have played a direct role in making this possible. Every rental, every referral, every bit of support helped get us here — and we are incredibly grateful.

But this isn’t the finish line. It’s the starting point for the next chapter. We’ll get settled, then we’re going right back to work chasing the next goal — and the one after that.

We know who we are. We know what we’re capable of. And we’re excited to keep building something special right here in Hanover, PA.

165 text messages for a rental!?

Over the past 3 weeks, our skid steers have been in Baltimore working alongside Best Choice Fence & Concrete to help clear alleyways throughout the city after the snowstorms. Today, we picked up our last machine and wrapped up a great partnership.

I worked closely with Bryan from Best Choice throughout the project, and it was an absolute pleasure. As we finished up, I looked back through our text thread and saw we exchanged 165 text messages during that time.

The high amount of communication wasn’t because Bryan and were buddies prior to the rental (we are now) or because we were texting back and forth about the Super Bowl — it’s because we were constantly communicating. Drop-off points changed, pickup locations moved, more equipment was needed, flat tires happen, plans shifted as Bryan coordinated with the city and his crews to get the job done. Early mornings, late nights — staying connected kept everything running smoothly.

And that’s exactly how we’re different.

When you rent from Hanover Equipment Company, you’re not just getting a machine and a “see ya later.” You’re getting a team that cares about your project and your success. We stay involved, we communicate, and we help problem-solve when plans change.

While delivering equipment down in the Baltimore area today, we caught a flat tire on our equipment trailer. Not exactly how we planned the trip to go — but that’s part of the game.

Luckily, we pulled into the closest shop, K&K Tire, and they got us right in, fixed up, and back on the road in no time.

Huge thanks to them for the quick turnaround and great service. We appreciate the help getting us back to our customers safely and on schedule!

Early morning pickup today in Reisterstown, Maryland

It’s been awesome working alongside the snow removal crews out there. Until you see it up close, it’s easy to underestimate how much time, effort, manpower, money, and lost sleep goes into keeping roads and sidewalks clear.

These crews are out long before most alarms go off, busting their butts so the rest of us can wake up, get to work, and move safely through our day.

We’re grateful to be a small part of that process and happy to be a helping hand when it’s needed. Huge respect to everyone in snow removal — the work doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’d like to thank Caleb at Cunningham Automotive in South Hanover for his help this weekend.

While preparing a skid steer for a scheduled delivery, we discovered a nail in the tire that was causing air loss. We stopped at Cunningham Automotive, and although this is not a service they typically provide, Caleb took the time to assist us, quickly patching the tire and getting us back on the road without delay.

We truly appreciate Caleb’s willingness to go above and beyond to help when we were in a time-sensitive situation. It’s always great to work with local businesses that take pride in helping others when it counts.
