The Midnight Library by Matt Haig was a pleasant surprise! I'd heard mixed reviews, so I went into it with fairly modest expectations. Many reviewers complained about the lack of personality of the main character, but she grew on me and I really, truly enjoyed the read! Without giving away too much, it is about the space between life and death where there exists infinite possibilities. It is an exploration of what it really means to live; to both enjoy a life of meaning and fulfillment, as well as to accept a life filled with regrets.

Pulse check! What are we reading? I'm a crazy person who reads more than one book at a time 😁 I'm currently about half way through both The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and North Woods by Daniel Mason. Tell me what you're into right now! Help me add to my never-ending TBR, lol!

What are you reading? I just finished "Kin" by Tayari Jones, and this one was BEAUTIFUL! The story of two motherless African American girls growing up together in the 1950s-1960s in segregated Louisiana, and the very different paths their adult lives take. It was a raw, honest review of family; what really makes a person your mother or your sister? With an unexpected ending that left me in tears, this one will stay with me for a long time, if not forever. A solid 4.5 stars.
