SHEEPSHEAD SETUP 101 – BUILT IN THE SHOP.
If you’re trying to “herd some sheep” off our local docks, bridges, and jetties, you need the right hardware:
a stout inshore rod, a reel with real drag, braid for feel, fluoro leader because they’re picky, and a simple Carolina rig with live bait on the business end.

Fiddler crabs, sand fleas, and live shrimp are home base for Sheepshead, drop them tight to the structure and be ready for those sneaky taps.
