I've spent the last couple days taking in all the damage that the storms did to my flower field. And while I am devastated at seeing a lot my hard work, time and energy wiped away, I am also hopeful because of the resilience of plants.

Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes, but it also gives room for new growth. Many of my plants snapped and broke but I still have some flowers that survived.

They might be wonky and some crooked stems for a couple of weeks but I'm hopeful that it will all work out and I'll still be able to provide some gorgeous arrangements out of the season.

Thank you for everyone who checked in on us and for all of the thoughtful messages. I love this community so much and seeing everyone pull together is truly inspirational.

If you would like to come pick up an arrangement this weekend, I did what I could with what I could harvest this week after the storm!

Well, I don't know if everyone heard or not but Bell Rd was hit really hard in that storm yesterday!

It was the craziest wind I've ever seen, and all things considered, we are very lucky. But our whole little community has so much damage.

One of our downed trees narrrowly missed our greenhouse. Our stand was lucky, too and didn't flip this time! (We have had it happen before and we know a lot of our friends down the road had their stands fall over this time, so make sure to check on the other Bell Road Farm Stands)

A lot of my flowers, however, did get damaged. Everything was flattened and a lot snapped right in half. I'm hopeful that some will be able to bounce back but it's a really big set back for me.

But we are lucky to be ok, we are lucky this is a wonderful and helpful community. Driving around after the aftermath and just seeing the neighbors all helping each other was really sweet. And my husband and I are here to help if any of our neighbors need an additional hand, please reach out!

Thank you all for such an amazing weekend! I sold out on Friday and Saturday and I'm so thankful for everyone who stopped by! Seriously, it means so much! 🩷🩷🩷

There are still a couple bouquets available today and I plan on having the stand stocked up all week since EVERY row is finally blooming!
