Craig and Carolyn Hayner, owners of Hayner Farm Stand and Old-Fashioned Country Store, LLC (AKA Hayner’s Ice Cream and Country store) are pleased announce the opening of Steep’d Coffee House @ Hayner’s on Monday April 6th at 7am. The highly anticipated opening announced in January this year will bring together a combination of past, present and new menu highlights. Featuring an extensive line of coffee, tea and lattes. A wholesome breakfast and lunch menu, mouthwatering pastries, homemade soups and more.
“We are excited to be teaming up with Jeremy Herrey and James Dowen to offer a full-service, year-round café experience. Jeremy and James bring creative energy, culinary expertise and the necessary foodservice experience to bring this exciting collaboration to fruition. We believe customers will be thrilled to enjoy a delicious breakfast sandwich or a pastry and coffee in our dining room, on the go, or outside against the beautiful backdrop of the Hayner Farm. People have asked us over the years, when are you bringing this back? We are excited to see this concept come full circle from where it all began twenty-eight years ago, plus more.” said Carolyn Hayner.
“When we first opened our doors in 1998, building off my dad’s farmstand business, we were blessed to have the opportunity to create a restaurant café business right here on the Hayner farm where I grew up. Over the years, as food service trends and demographics have changed in our area (especially with the addition of the town park next door), we adjusted our business plan accordingly. Often making hard decisions to change our menu offerings to meet demand for our most popular products due to the confines of our limited space. Last year, with the expansion of our building to create a dedicated area for ice cream, we can continue bringing back some of our most popular menu concepts of the past along with exciting new modern twists for today.” said Craig Hayner.
“Our motto is “made with love and excellence,” said Jeremy Herrey, who along with James Dowen will operate the day-to-day business operations of Steep’d Coffehouse @ Hayner’s. “We love our community and are excited for this opportunity to partner with Carolyn and Craig, who have established an incredible following over the years. Not only will we continue their legacy of serving quality products with great service, but we will extend them as well. Our beverage section will feature past favorites such as Snickerdoodle coffee, but also include an extensive variety of coffees, espresso drinks, lattes and more. There will be 14 crafted teas along with several matcha options made with premium Jade leaf Matcha. Our authentic masala chai latte will be made from scratch with fresh spices and fine tea. We will offer an array of wholesome food items like breakfast sandwiches on freshly baked breads, French Toast using Madagascar vanilla and real maple syrup, several panini, sandwich and salad options, along with homemade quiches, soups, scones and more. All products will be made with fresh quality ingredients with many gluten free and vegan options as well”.
The soft opening for Steep’d Coffee House will be Monday, April 6th from 7am to 3pm. Business hours for April will be 7am to 3pm daily, closed Tuesdays.
