Since moldavite is rare and comes with a higher price tag, there are going to be fakes, even at gem shows.

Some are honest about it. Most I’ve seen do not disclose that the moldavite isn’t authentic.

The problem is that many fake pieces look convincing at first glance, especially if you’re new to collecting moldavite and don’t know what to look for.

That’s why knowing what authentic moldavite actually looks like matters.

In Part 1, every piece I showed was fake.

In this reel, we’re taking the next step by learning the common things you can look for that separates real moldavite from the imitations so you can shop with more confidence.

The goal isn’t to make you suspicious of every seller. It’s to help you become an informed buyer who knows what to look for.

One of the surprising and most meaningful things about running this business is realizing that crystals were never the only thing being exchanged here.

Over the past 5 years, this space has become encouragement during hard seasons, celebrations during good ones, inside jokes, check-ins, support, and genuine care between people who would have never met otherwise.

That kind of community can feel rare online, especially now.

I think a lot of people are carrying exhaustion, loneliness, stress, grief, or the feeling that they move through the world unnoticed.

That’s why small acts of thoughtfulness can hit so deeply. They remind us we are actually seen.

So this post is really bigger than gifts.

It’s about how kindness changes people.

It’s about how being remembered matters.

And it’s about how communities are built one small interaction at a time.
