We were invited to participate in our town’s Christmas parade (it was today). We passed out 120 Christmas ornaments that we made on the laser commemorating the event and of course enough candy to feed every kid, within a 10 mile radius, an entire pound of sugar! Good times…

On Thanksgiving, 2003, I was hunkered down sitting beside a Humvee in Husaybah, Iraq eating a Meatloaf MRE, with my buddy Sergio. Today I am thankful that I survived all of those deployments and am back home in the USA. Today, take a moment to remember not everyone gets to go home for the Holidays and not everyone gets to be with their loved ones. Remember those who serve our Country and put THAT on your list of things to be thankful for!

Thank you to all the men and women who are serving in harm's way for us on this day (and every day)!
