Big feelings can be hard for little people.

A sensory bin gave me 25 minutes… and that felt like a whole lot more.

My 15-month-old sat and played with her sensory bin for 25 minutes today. While she explored, I was able to unload and load the dishwasher, sweep the kitchen, tidy up the living room and make lunch for the girls.

But the best part? She wasn’t “just playing.” 🤍

She was:
🌱 Exploring new textures and building textural awareness
✋ Strengthening fine motor skills through scooping, pouring, and transferring
🧠 Practicing focus, problem solving, and independent play
