It’s finally finished. I just had to put in an additional six hours to convert the cushion cover to allow for a surprise 6” x 9“ column that went from the bench to the ceiling. I can now say that this project is done.

It took a total of 33-1/2 hours to cut and join cushion material and to sew/ create a 112-1/4” long x 24” wide x 3” high cushion and cover.

I’ve included photos from start to finish.

I made a cardboard form before I cut the foam and it came in handy for moving and supporting the foam cushion.

It’s a good thing that I have a king size bed in my spare bedroom because the full length cushion went from my kitchen windowsill to the end of my table.

In an effort to organize before my next delivery of fabric arrives, I’ve located projects that I started and did not complete. I guess these will be appropriate for Christmas in July. I made two different children’s soft books appropriate for Christmas time. I just love the illustrations in the Little Light soft book by Joy Allen, and the Night Before Christmas by Susan Winget

I’m still working on a large project that I won’t post until it’s actually completed. In the meantime, I did a quick little child quilt panel 40“ x 40“ square. I got a deal on the Fabric so I figured I’d sell this baby item for only 10 dollars.

I just finished a large project. I’m taking time out to try to organize some of my stash. I’m looking for some recommendations on what to do with two panels that I have named Grandparents House Rules. Each panel is 41 inches long by 22 inches wide. Should I just make a wall hanging, a door hanging or make a couch throw. What do you think?

I tried a new pattern for a travel bag. I used my Timeless Treasures Fabric of Bee and sunflower print with the black background. The size ended up being 4 1/2 inches high by 8 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide. When I get a chance I think I’m gonna play around with the pattern and see if I can make the depth of the bag a little deeper.

Several weeks ago, I was asked to create a pocketbook based on photographs that were sent to me. It took me two weeks to figure out how to re-create a similar pattern to the photos. I then created a pocketbook and had to wait until it was delivered before I could post the photos.

In the meantime, I created two more with the same fabric. I then created two of the same pattern with a flamingo fabric.

I think I’m going to take a break from making more of this pattern unless somebody would like to order one in a Fabric of their choice.

I do have one flamingo bag and one of the green swirl pattern pocketbooks still available and I plan on posting those to Facebook marketplace sometime in the near future.

Each bag comes with a 48 to 55 inch long, one and a half inch wide strap.

I just finished making a quilt panel for a couch quilt 50 inches wide by 70 inches long. This was my homework for next week, when I will take it to a quilt shop and use a Long Arm Quilting sewing machine.

Although it doesn’t match my home decor, I like the look of the panel and I hope I can find someone who wants to give it a home when it’s finished. While making it, I was thinking maybe someone at the New Jersey Paraunity convention might be interested.

I also finished another special order for four reversible, matching placemats; two reversible, matching table runners and two matching pillows.

I was lucky enough to have purchased two of the Michaels Ashland Santa Claus pillows when they were on sale. So I made two removable pillow covers that can be removed for the holidays.

Same reminder, do not iron quilted fabric if you want them to remain puffy. I plan on delivering both sets of placemats next week.

Now I’ve got to finish making a dragon quilt top so that I can take a follow up Long Arm Quilting machine appointment next week.

I just finished a special order of four reversible matching placemats This will be a gift for her grandmother so I tried to dress up the presentation.

Just a reminder to anyone that has purchased anything that is quilted, do not iron it if you still want it to look puffy. I have to add this reminder to my tag with my cleaning recommendations.

These were a creation of gratitude because I’m definitely not gonna make any money on this one. I spent more on the Fabric than what I am charging.

I finally finished making two large laptop bags made with quilted farmhouse fabric. These took me a little longer than I expected because I had to learn how to make a bag using gussets. Each bag is approximately 13 inches high by 17 inches wide by 5 inches deep. There is an outside double zippered pocket with an open pocket behind; these three pockets are covered with a flap with magnetic snaps. Inside is a zippered pocket and a cushioned pocket for a laptop and or iPad. The red bag has an additional double zipper pocket inside as I reused an oops pocket that would not fit on the outside of the bag.
