The Urban Wood Lab The Urban Wood Lab is dedicated to sustainability and rescuing great logs from the wood chipper. Our services include band saw milling, kiln drying, & planing.

Our wood can also be found at Habitat for Humanity ReStores in Franklin, Wauwatosa & Greenfield Hoppe Tree Service got tired of seeing good wood go to waste. Rather than cut great logs into firewood or grinding it into mulch, we feel that there is a higher calling for the urban log. We take our tree service logs and mill them into lumber and wood products such as live edge slabs. Our wood products are available for purchase at our store at 195 27th Street, Caledonia, WI 53108.
