So this week one of our workers installed a system in his own home. Two universal ports and hooked it up with the provisions of adding an automatic dustpan to one of our smaller units which fit perfectly inside this cramped utility room. There is no house too large or too small for a central vacuum. Start cleaning better today!

One feature we haven’t mentioned about the Chameleon Retractable Central Vacuums is the cam port cover. This allows you to take your hose completely out and use the hose in the other ports in your house (as long as they are not semi automatic Vacuflo valves.) This gives you flexibility allowing you to use your longer chameleon hose and not move the hose around as much as you would with a shorter traditional hose. This week a homeowner contacted us because he wanted the best solution for allergies he has a son with sensitivities. So our solution was to get him three retractable hose systems and vent the main unit outside which also uses a 5 gallon HEPA bag so no dust, pet dander, allergens, VOC’s can escape and what makes it through the bag goes completely out of the home. This week we swapped out a Vacuflo Model 26 that was from 1977, and what is unique about this install is it used old 1.75” tubing instead of the 2 inch OD we see today on modern system. To adapt the new system to the old one we used a Chameleon Retractable Central Vacuums stop coupling or is just known as a simple adapter coupling to install the new DB5000 for this customer.
