10 oz of vanilla beans arrived today! Wish you could smell through the screen. So nice and juicy. We will be starting a new batch of vanilla extract.

Beans purchased at IndriVanilla Co-op. I highly recommend them. Great prices and excellent quality, as well as information needed to make real FDA standards extract.

Todays celebrated holidays include best friends day and oceans day! Two really great holidays to celebrate!

I don't know where I would be in life without the many very special friends that I have had over my lifetime! Friends that you can call and vent to, friends who are there for you in the good times and hard times. Friends who cheer you on when you are attempting challenging things in life. Friends who see you with your flaws and still love you and care about you!

I hope each and everyone of you have special people in your life that you call a friend. Many of my friends have become family. We call that our framily! I love each of them dearly!

Happy Sunday friends! I hope you are having a great day!

Today's celebrated holidays include chocolate ice-cream day and cancer survivors day.

I love chocolate ice-cream and I'm happy to say I am also a cancer survivor! Discovered I had stage one uterine cancer 5 years ago. I was blessed to have caught it early and had a complete hysterectomy to remedy the situation. I was one of the lucky ones who didn't have to have further treatments. I have made it past the 5 year mark so now I only have to be checked once a year.

Who else is a survivor? Let's celebrate with you!

Did yall notice I completely forgot to post the holidays yesterday? Geesh! I did my research and got distracted and completely forgot!

Had the pleasure of seeing both sisters at the hospital today. One was a kidney donor and one was the recipient.

I'm so proud of both! They are both doing amazing!

This was my walk back to my office. It's about a 15 minute walk to the hospital. This hill might look small but it is a great cardio workout. 😆 Keeping my heart strong!

Have you ever passed something on many occasions and then one day actually notice it?

That was me twice today on our campus walk.
#1 I don't remember seeing that hanging artwork at the Chemistry Building.
#2 I've never seen a Crype Myrtle with dark leaves like this one.
