Dirty oxidized switch will definitely needs some attention. I wonder what other use to clean this time of oxidation? What’s your choice cleaner?

Finished up the restoration on the Sylvania Stereo Console. Last run of the changer before new owner picks it up later today.

Wrapping up the restoration on this lovely Sylvania Stereo console. Added a Bluetooth not really a big issue, plug-in play. cleaned and updated the record changer with a new idler wheel and a new cartridge and needle. Went through the tuner/amplifier and updated all the needed electronics. Sounds quite nice. Happy to have it going to a good home.

Getting this nice Sylvania all squared away for the client to view before picking it up. Not a bad restoration, just a few hiccups, but I straightened it all out. Added a Bluetooth per client request.

Been fighting with a finicky record changer. It didn’t win, at this point we are still in a standoff. So to help me get my juju back I figured I would start the restoration on this gorgeous twin cabinet( 2nd cabinet not show), Magnavox. I have some recent familiarity with this model so that should make this a bit easier. Not sure which I like most, the Amp 175 or the speaker array, anchored by these nice 15 inch woofers. Can’t wait to hear this set sing. Then maybe I will go tackle the stubborn changer.

Very nice GE Mediterranean styled cabinet console stereo. Will be available in Mid May for purchase.

Magnavox restoration from earlier this year. Client recently texted me randomly thanking me for how great her stereo is now. That’s what it is all about. Preserving these great machines and allowing people to enjoy them again.
