Welcome to my almost-complete tiny desk project all set up as my dedicated workspace. I don’t need a lot of room for my inventory activities and it also gets those supplies out of my storage area, which is helpful. I almost picked up a tie in art deco file cabinet but my life partner might lose his #*%^= so I’ll wait a hot second 🤣 I am going to possibly look for a small round rug but generally live with things for a hot minute before making any new decisions 😊

Life is a mystery. I recently found myself in the possession of two very different toy airplanes and I didn’t pick them up because I love airplanes or even have a huge kid audience. But, if I were going to keep either of them, I would probably style them into a kid’s room as a bookend on a shelf…because they are pretty cool ✈️✈️✈️

I actually didn’t realize this around the time I was opening a restaurant and selling at farmers markets but that’s when I bought this display stand. This is likely an old sales rack, maybe for candy and possibly from a grocery or a gas station. The shelves are a bit small but they work for a collection of miniatures. What do you think?

High Line View (2026) the first time I was on the High Line I was hauling 4, full-sized sheet pans I picked up at a Chelsea cookware shop right before opening a restaurant…there were no trees in 2005, but on this trip there are also no sheet pans 🤣

My day job is complicated and my vintage hustle keeps me sane (I’m sure you can relate) but it means that I don’t always get to slow down, except sometimes very early in the morning where I drink coffee and listen to the birds. This is one of those rare days…better make it count.
