I ordered 4 boxes of bulbs. A box of opaque multi bulbs in the C9 size as I am almost out of those and many were vintage bulbs, dating back probably 70 years or so. Among with double dipped transparent multi's in the C7.5 size, a box of opaque white and these pinks.
Oh my, they when off look magenta, or rather, hot pink, but when lit (tried it in the night light lamp in my bathroom), they look almost red, very cool. Love the color and all came intact, and I assume all work as all the sets are put away for the year.
The previous order came well packed as did these and I don't think I have lost but one since, and it may be due to the film on the outside flaking off (one newer red opaque bulb lost most of its finish this season, due in part to major atmospheric rivers and/or wind. It I think came from a retail set I bought at Target a couple of Christmases ago.
I miss the days when "ceramic" bulbs were painted on the inside, rather than on the exterior as the color lasts the life of the bulb, rather than flaking off in a season or two.
