Breaking my radio silence for a wonderful maker!

I was happily chosen by to test knit her new headband pattern.

This was a joy to make and came together super quick. Perfect for a quick gift idea.

She released this pattern today and with the holidays coming up I think this is a must have!

Check out Athena's page for the Triple E Ear Warmer pattern ❤️

We did it!!

We survived 25+ hours of travel with 2 kids and 3 cats and no one died!

Thank you to everyone that helped us get ready and all the wonderful staff we had on our flights that did as much as they could to help with the kids and cats.

We are finally almost all settled in our new house in Alabama.

We have already enjoyed seeing several family members and the kids are enjoying their new spaces.

We are still waiting on our express shipment of items but otherwise we have most of the house unpacked and out together. My craft room is another story, but it will get done eventually.

Excited to see what this house holds for us for the next year we are here ❤️

I finished my 6th shirt yesterday and I am absolutely in love!

I have finally perfected the neckline on this pattern. I like a higher and smaller neckline than what comes with the original pattern.

I have slowly changed the neckline to get it where it is now.

My 5th one was perfect so I knew it was time to use some of my good Japanese fabric.

This is a linen blend I found here. I just can't with the cute little sushi cats.

Adding a me made tag to back of this shirt really finished it off perfectly.

I am really enjoying the slow process of making my own clothes these days.

Hello!!

I promise I am still alive and still making even though I have been quiet on here.

I have been lurking on everyone's amazing makes and finally decided that I needed to get making again.

So far I have finished 1 hoodie, 3 pants, 5 shirt, 1 peplum top, 1 dress and 2 twirly shirts for the Halloween season 🤣🎃🖤

I guess I went big but I absolutely love Halloween and can't wait to see the kids in all their Halloween makes.

I finally finished my first ever woven mom shirt and I am in love!!

This is the swift dress/shirt by

It fits great! I was so worried about what size to make. I measured a million times and finally just decided to take the plunge and do it.

I love how it fits. I might try and play around with the neckline on my next one. Overall I would say it's definitely a win for my first ever mom size item

Proof that I do still sew from time to time 🤣

Baby leg warmers might be the cutest things I have made to date!

Pictured: cute baby, the one that keeps me busy all day now, wearing lemon printed leg warmers and pink onesie that says "baby sister"

Getting to see items I made for her before we knew there even was a her makes me beyond happy!

I knit these items for our future baby and now she is here. Being able to hand make items for her was what kept me going through our whole adoption process.

To all those families out there waiting for your turn, I feel you and your time will come!

I have been pretty quiet on here but yesterday I finally got behind my machine again!

Little one needed a pair of Christmas pants that actually fit over her cloth b***y, so I cranked these out for her.

Life has been amazing with our new little one. We have just been enjoying time together as a family of 4. I forgot how amazing the newborn time is. I have enjoyed every minute of it.

See second photo for the face that makes my day better!

Today's featured item for the raffle is this wonderful set donated by Brandi from

Brandi donated a pair of grow with me pants and two newborn flat diapers.

Let's talk about the grow with me pants first.

These are absolutely amazing as they grow with your baby so you get the most wear out of them as possible.

They have hand dyed fabric for the cuffs and bottom circle and work wonderful if you cloth diaper.

I use to make these for Reese and they were amazing because he would get months of wear out of them instead of just the normal 1-2 months that normal sizes do.

Then the diaper flats!

These are made with bamboo french terry and they are soooo soft. They literally feel like butter when you touch them.

Not planning to cloth diaper your baby? That's ok as these would make excellent baby wraps or burp cloths as well.

The bamboo french terry is super absorbent so not only does it hold up well to liquid but it feels amazing against your skin.

I can not thank Brandi enough for making these for me for this raffle! ❤️
