When I moved down here to the Shoals, back in 2017, Will McFarlane was one of the very first people I met. I was poking around at Don Parker ShoalsGuitar Shop, playing a Tele of some sort, and I noticed that I done something that snagged Wills ear and he came over and introduced himself to me. He didn’t know this at the time but I was already a big fan of his playing, I had been aware of who he was for several years so I was honestly a little nervous that day. We started talking about guitars, and guitar players, and became friends that day. Soon there after I would meet Kelvin Holly the same way, and both of those guys have always made me feel so welcomed and apart of the family down here and I am incredibly grateful for the friendship, mentorship, and kindness. Happy Birthday Will, I sincerely hope that you feel all of the love today brother.

I was TODAY years old when I found out that all of the earliest Wurlitzer Pianos (built from 1954 to around 1964), were all hand assembled in a little shop in Corinth, Mississippi. These little electric pianos have been featured on THOUSANDS of recordings over the last 6 decades or so. The more you know.
