Kantha blankets are back!!!!! Each blanket is made in India from recycled sari material, and then lovingly hand-stitched. Blankets measure 3 x 6 feet and are truly one-of-a-kind. Every blanket provides 5 women 30 hours of dignified work and an income to provide and care for their family. These Kantha blankets are lightweight but warm and make a great gift! I have 3 (one for my room, one for the couch and one to just look pretty) and I take mine with me when I travel. Blankets are $100 plus shipping.

Baskets were our top seller last night, so I wanted you to see the remaining inventory. I will not make another basket order until the spring, so when these are gone, you will have to wait. So get your Christmas gifts now!

Handwoven in Bolgatanga, Ghana and fair-trade. Baskets are made by artisans using traditional weaving techniques and elephant grass. Each beautifully intricate design is finished with a leather handle. These baskets are incredibly sturdy and the uses are endless. The best part is that your purchase provides healthcare, school supplies and community buildings (along with a dignified wage) for weavers and their families. We are weaving hope, one basket at a time!

Three words: out of control! Thank you SO much to everyone who stopped by to do some shopping tonight! I was so busy I didn’t even have time to put on my cute outfit. People wanted to shop before it even started…and the serious shoppers were even shopping from the backside of my booth! Just know that every single item purchased literally changes people’s lives! I still have tons of inventory (this photo was taken after pre-event shopping), so if you need Christmas gifts, you know where to find me! If you have another marketplace event happening, or would like me to come set up at your house (or anywhere) so your family and friends can shop then let me know!
