Snooper is an inquisitive bear cub who wanders away from his mother and brother while searching for food. While lost, Snooper has his first experiences in a city, with people, and with a dog. Snooper gets an ice cream bucket stuck on his head and is unable to get it off by himself. He searches his mind for answers and is able to find his way back to the dandelion field where his mother last saw him. Snooper is a learning experience tale about wandering away from his mother. This book is beautifully illustrated with photo blending techniques. Snooper, Momma Bear, and Max are bears made out of alpaca wool fabric and filled with polyester fiber. They were created and designed by the author. REVIEW: This is a sweet story with a good lesson. The pictures are very colorful and the bears are adorable! This would be a great book for opening up discussions with young ones about the importance of staying close to their safe people when out and about, without any "bad people" or scare tactics that may get misinterpreted by young age groups. It's fun to read aloud and is a delightful book.
