Come visit us at where you can check out a variety of yarns, weaving and spinning equipment, fibers, and more! We are conveniently located steps away from the South Blvd stop on the Purple line and three blocks away from the Metra Main St. stop. DM, email, drop a comment to schedule a time as we are by appointment but generally free evenings 6-8 pm and weekends 1-5 pm. Introducing Ito Kinu yarn. This lovely silk yarn is great for all those summer knits, usually kitted 2 together, it has great drape, and is very durable. What I love best about this yarn is how you can combine two colors together for subtle color changes or rich color moments. Check out our collection online or in person!

June is right around the corner, and we are trying to make it a jam-packed, fun-filled month!

Come hang out with us every Wednesday evening at a rotating park location throughout Chicago for our Potholder Potluck Picnic. Cost is $30 per event and includes all materials and use of the loom to make 2 potholders.

Interested in learning a few things about tapestry? Join us at The Dropped Stitch on Thursday, June 18 and 25 from 6-7:30 pm. The cost is $95 and includes a little loom, weaving tools, and warp thread. Just bring all those pesky leftover yarn balls you have lying around to make your own work of art!

And, finally, the last event before we take the month of July off, Natural Dye Day on June 27th. This outdoor event offers a wonderful peek into natural dyeing and the rich colors you can obtain from local plants. Registration is $60 and includes a variety of fabrics and a wee bit of yarn to dye, three colors to explore, and a wonderful array of resources.
