This time LAST year, I was hosting a Cake Pop Workshop with the sweetest Girl Scout Troop πͺ we had the best time, made *delicious* Girl Scout inspired Cake Pops and laughed the whole time..
To me, I was just hanging with the girlies making Cake Pops.. NO BIG DEAL okay?! π€£
Fast forward to last weekend and I had another Cake Pop Workshop for the CUTEST 13th birthday! I was so excited to show these girls how to make cake pops and just KNEW it would be a Friday so well spent..
Welp.
I began like I do every Cake Pop Workshop and ask "has anyone here ever made Cake Pops?!"
This is CRUCIAL lol and so this sweet gal had immediately said the most daunting statement ever. I kid you not I started immediately panicking as soon as she said this okay.. like full blown panic but-needed-to-be-so-cool because I didn't want these girls to see me sweat π€£π€£π€£
She answers my question and says SO. CONFIDENTLY. "Yep, I have but with a professional."
....SHE SAID A "PROFESSIONAL" π³
So there I was trying not to lose my marbles. I passed out my materials and really tried to keep it moving and be so excited to show these girls all things Cake Pops..
Truth is- I was SO intimidated. There are SOOO many Cake Pop professionals in this little corner of the world. I certainly wasn't who she was talking about, you know what I mean.
As I handed her the Cake Pop boxes, she looked at my logo and said to her girlfriends "oh yeah! This was that company that I've made Cake Pops with before."
And instantly, I was just reminded that I never need to doubt myself. Like ever.
ππ SHE JUST CALLED *ME* A PROFESSIONAL.
The birthday party was so sweet. The girls were hilarious and made me really miss my childhood best friends. It was such a great night.
PRO TIP:
Be SO confident in what you're doing. After all, you've come so far and worked so hard for all that you have, girl! ππ
