We saved the best for last, week 4 of girls in the garden allowed us to get our creative juices flowing. We made garden inspired flat breads and flower crowns. Girls in the garden week 3. We harvested poppy pods, dumped out the seeds and made a poppy seed cake, did an insect scavenger hunt, discussed and picked flowers suitable for drying, and did an herb taste test. Oh and filled tea bags with dried mint and lemon balm. Next week is the grand finale!

My friend Casi and I hosted our first garden club this morning. We discussed composting, planted a few things, harvested flowers and salsa ingredients, made flower pots and ate salsa. It was a great time, can't wait for next week!
