New item dropping soon!

I came across these tiny tabasco geodes at Cobble Creek and stopped dead in my tracks. They absolutely screamed to be made into simple earrings, and who am I to ignore a plea like that?!

There are five pairs coming with me to Moravian this Saturday (see last post) and I will post the ones left plus some more I haven't made yet to Etsy afterwards.

First show of the season coming up! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Moravian Historical Society's 48th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival this Saturday! Come on out to check out all the vendors and pick up some lunch from a food truck.

This little guy almost got me a warning on Etsy! How? Well this is what's called "Bumblebee Jasper" which is neither a bumblebee nor a jasper. It's actually mostly calcite with the yellows and oranges coming from sulfur compound and the blacks and grays coming from arsenic bearing minerals and manganese oxides.

Did you catch the arsenic part? This is why Etsy was like "nope sorry you can't list this, it's poison!"

Except! This mineral is perfectly safe to handle and to wear as jewelry. The only thing you shouldn't do is eat it or let your child suck on it.

Not sure why Etsy picked this particular mineral to be banned since, between you and me, I've never seen a grown adult eat a rock. (Myself as a child is a different story).

Anyway, this guy IS listed, just as plain jasper. It's waiting for someone who will appreciate its beauty without eating it!

Shop Drop!! All available trees are currently posted to Etsy, there are so many different towers and wire colors up now that you simply must go over and check it out if you've been thinking of getting a tree.

The diamond of the season is absolutely this experimental tree I made for the sole purpose of showing off the amethyst point. The mirror base really throws light into the entire piece!

Hello all, as the holidays approach I find myself with some items that haven't made it to Etsy and that I just do not have the energy to create listings for. Therefore! This is an unofficial shop drop of all the items that are not on Etsy currently.

If you see something in this batch that catches your eye, please PM me and we will work out payment and shipping! If you want more detailed photos of a specific item, also PM me!

The tower crystal bonsais are $60-70 and the one on the right of the second photo that is on a small amethyst geode base is $40. The earrings are all hand cut, bookmatched burlwood with stainless steel ear wires and are $20.

Absolutely LIVING for the colors on this fluorite tower! This batch of gold wire also had a slight rose gold tint for some reason which worked perfectly with this tower.

This and a few others will be up on Etsy soon, keep an eye out here for the shop drop.
