If you've noticed we haven't been signing up for many summer markets, here's why. ☀️📚

This season we're intentionally focusing on what happens behind the scenes.

We're spending time preparing for a busy fall season, creating new inventory, getting ready for a Renaissance Faire event, keeping our local booths stocked, and balancing family life and other work responsibilities.

As much as we love markets, we know that sometimes the best thing for a small business is to pause, prepare, and build for what's next.
We're still here, still creating, and still working on exciting things for Our Berryhill Bookshelf. You may just see a little less of us at summer events while we get ready for everything ahead.

Wishing we could give you a big hug today! Happy Birthday in Heaven & Happy Belated Mother’s Day to the woman who inspired it all. 🩷

Our Berryhill Bookshelf began as a way to honor my mom and the love, comfort, and joy she brought to my life. Her gentle spirit and love for meaningful things continue to inspire this business every single day, and I see little reminders of her in every item I make.

Today, I’m celebrating her birthday and honoring her with a grateful heart. I miss her deeply, but I’m thankful that her legacy continues through this little bookish dream. 📚

One year ago, I started this little dream not only because of my love for books and creativity, but also as a way to honor my mom and the love of reading and kindness she helped inspire in me. 📚

What began as a small idea has grown into something sweeter than I ever imagined; from blind date books, cozy book sleeves, markets, late-night crafting sessions, supportive customers, and a wonderful community of fellow book lovers.

This past year has been filled with learning, growth, faith, excitement, and so many answered prayers. There were moments of uncertainty, moments of joy, and countless reminders of why I started in the first place.

Thank you to everyone who has shared, purchased, supported, prayed for, or encouraged this little business along the way. Every purchase, kind comment, and interaction has meant so much to me.

Our Berryhill Bookshelf was built on a love of books, whimsy, and faith, and I’m so grateful for all the ways God has blessed this journey over the last year.

Here’s to one beautiful year of stories and many more still to come. 🩷📖
