It doesn't get much better than this! Huge thank you to Cameron Thoms ! He donated the head, so there is zero head cost on this build! $70 savings!
Here are the specs! 23½" hickory, hand shaped (and sanded) straight octagon handle. I used one of my fancy Designer wedges, sporting some orange paper micarta and dark walnut. The head is a CT jersey with a budget brush finish and it weighs in at 2lb 1.8oz.. now. The overall weight is 3lbs 1.5oz. Blade is juuust shy of 4⅝" max scoring.
