First time for me going to the Iowa Deer Classic here in Des Moines and I had the privilege of meeting Tim Wells the SLOCKMASTER and Kaitlyn Maus from Kaitlyn Maus Outdoors! I also had a great talk with Adam Clark from Clark’s Outfitters which found out he is a Martin bow dealer here in Iowa so I’m excited to make it up to his shop soon. Quite the exciting afternoon for sure. A few subscribers said hi to me as well which is always awesome meeting followers.

Out on an urban bow hunt scouting mission and I end up finding a turtle trying to cross the road. Luckily a nice lady parked in front of it to keep it safe from traffic and I just happened to be rolling by. I couldn’t jump out of the truck fast enough to help “relocate” it. Lol. I’d also say I found a good deer crossing check out the time stamps from the camera. Also brought home some nice chicken of the woods. I’d say it was a productive morning!

What a fun night of fishing for flatheads! Can’t wait till the rivers are a bit more cooperating this year again and try for some fall flatheads before hunting season is in full swing.

My buddy T.J. Gall helped me out and built a ram bar and elevated light bar for the front of the boat which came out pretty awesome. We made the ram bar removable and adjustable lengths which will be super helpful. Im looking forward to building this boat the way I want it slowly but surely. Next up is hopefully a small homemade console for my electronics and switches which I’ll require the boat at that time and add some goodies.

Pretty awesome to wake up this morning while we’re out camping and see the channel has hit the 20k mark. It’s been an awesome journey and I really love that I am able to create videos and bring you all along with me on my adventures!
